A Grand Day Out

We set off from Flagstaff towards the Grand Canyon passing through forests & mountain roads as high as 8000 feet above sea level.

The Grand Canyon is just that, a grand canyon. Like a giant mountain shaped jelly mould, it's hard to get a scale of just how big it is.

Then it was the long long drive to Vegas. We got here a day earlier than scheduled & found an awesome deal for one night at Luxor. We rolled in early in the evening & managed to get in a quick tour of the strip & watched the fountains at the Bellagio. Even won a little money on the slots.

This place is bonkers!
