I would walk 424 miles…

We’re now 424 miles away (or 5 inches on our map) from El Cajon and checked into a hotel in Sedona. It took us 10 hours to get here, including stops, as we took the scenic/backroads route but it was worth it. The views were amazing. We drove through desert, rocky mountains, sand dunes, forest mountains, more desert, green plateaus and even more mountains. This time the red mountains of Sedona.

Passing Quartzsite

Leaving a small town called Hope

JJ with Musty. We could choose between white and white colour.
So we went for white.

Passing Prescott

First glimpse of Sedona's red rocks

We passed by numerous farms today but not many towns, especially where the local shop or petrol station has not closed down so we could fill up the tank, get some water and Walkers crisps, called Lays here.

We’re staying at Super 8 hotel tonight and across the road we found a nice place serving homemade dinners. Tonight man won!
