Leaving Las Vegas

We're back on the road today. Drove through Death Valley. It's true that nothing lives there, not one bug died on our windscreen through the whole drive. DV is an awesome drive, Top Gear-esque. I whole heartedly recommend it.

We rounded the day up in a little frontier town in the Sierra Nevada hills called Lone Pine. Imagine how happy the little film nerd inside me was to find out that this is town of Perfection in one of my favourite films Tremors! I'm off to buy an elephant gun to shoot me some Graboids!
